Chapter 12
Y/n pov.
"T-too late. I s-sent it to them a-already." Yeji said between breaths. After chasing her for seven minutes straight in the club, I finally caught up with her. However, she has already sent the picture into the group chat and that stupid app does not let me delete it. Why, Hwang Yeji? WHYYYYYY.
"Yejiiiiiii." I whined as I slumped into my chair in defeat. Gosh, this is going to be so embarrassing. I can’t imagine the amount of teasing that I’m gonna go through. I took another sip of my fruit punch.
"You're seriously drinking sweet drinks? Those are for little children. Why don't you try this?" Ryujin slurred, shoving a cup of alcohol in my face.
"No thanks. It's... gross." I nudged my drunk unnie away gently crinkling my nose.
"Kid." She huffed playfully as she stumbled back to her chair with the help of Yuna.
"Well, don't you guys say that I'm one?" I shrugged, taking a huge gulp of my drink. Lia laughed at my reply.
"C'mon both of you. Are ya'll gonna just spent the evening like that?" Chaeryeong giggled as she dragged us onto the dance floor. Being someone who can’t dance, I just stood there as I watch the others groove to the music that was blasting through the speakers.
“Wow, I didn’t know you’re such a great dancer.” I praised Chaeryeong as she danced in sync with the music.
“I used to learn different genres dance when I was younger. If you’re interested, would you like me to teach you?” Chaeryeong offered.
“You don’t mind?” I cracked a smile.
“Of course she wouldn’t.” Yeji interrupted. “Plus, she is not the only dancer here.” Yeji continued with a light smirk. My mouth hung agape. Who knew a bunch of mafia girls can dance so well?
Hyunjin pov.
How I wish I could feel those soft, plum lips of Y/n again… The way she stared into my eyes just now-
“Hyunjin!” Felix’s voice jostled me out from my… dream. I sat straighter, feeling my cheeks heat up at my own thoughts. Why are you even thinking about that, Hyunjin? And why does Y/n look so familiar? I furrowed my eyebrows in concentration as I pictured a younger version of her in my mind. I shook it off. “I assumed it went well?” Felix continued, plopping down beside me. The eight of us were sitting in a circle, chit-chatting so loudly that Chan told us to “Shut up!” Multiple times.
“I guess.” I blew out a breath.
“Why are you like that? Have more energyyyy.” Felix tugged on my arm roughly, causing me to fall of my chair. I glared at him.
“Sorry.” He chuckled nervously. “Care to answer?” He raised an eyebrow.
”Just now Wonyoung ran away. Again.” I half-lied. I mean, I am actually worried about Wonyoung, but that was just part of the reason.
“That?!? Seriously hyung?” Felix groaned.
“Yeah. She is my best friend after all.” I shrugged. Feeling worried for a friend is normal, I don’t get why he is so worked up.
“Do you realise she does that every time?” He pointed out.
“Yup, but maybe I should go after her to make sure-“
”Hell no! That is exactly what she wants you to do so you can get trapped under her ‘spell’ again.” Felix grumbled in protest.
“Yesh hyung. Sorry to disrespect you but your a bit ‘delusional’.” I.N giggled. Huh?
“Why are you so… frustrated?” I asked the sunshine beside me.
”If only you watched the video that Yeji sent me-“ Felix started, only to get cut off by Han’s excited loud voice.
“Oh my gawd! Guys! You HAVE TO look at this right now!” Han yelled as he placed his phone on the table. I inched forward. Isn’t that the picture of me and Y/n? To make it worse, it was when we were kissing. Urgh this Hwang Yeji, I swear I am going to kill her later… All of them looked at me, some with wide eyes, some with raised brows, and some with playful smirks.
“What?” I blurted out.
“Changbin hyung? You owe me money. See? I was right. I KNEW this would happen!” Seungmin snickered. They bet on me and Y/n?!? Changbin murmured something under his breath.
“Now spill. You have lots of explaining to do.” Lee Know leaned forward, wriggling his brows. I sighed again, expecting a whole lot of continuous teasing for the whole of next week. Now, how should I start?
Wonyoung pov.
I ran out of the club, glancing behind me occasionally to see if Hyunjin is following me. Whenever I am playing the innocent version of me, I would run away upon getting upset. That kind of seem to work as Hyunjin Oppa would always follow me to calm me down.
“Why isn’t he here?” I mumbled while trying to squeeze more tears out of my eyes, smearing them carefully onto my cheeks so they wouldn't do any damage to my make up. I sat down on the granite bench near by, planning out what to do when my Jinnie comes. Should I try to make him break up with the Y/n girl and cry and wail until he promises? Nope, that sounds rather *y. Or maybe I could just confess to him. Hyunjin being a big softie would of course accept it. I smirked to myself. I waited for another ten minutes but no one came.
"The * Y/n did to bewitch Hyunjin?" I grumbled as Y/n's face flashed across my mind. Why does she have to be so perfect? Talented and beautiful, just... urgh! I can still remember her smirk. My felt anger coursing through my veins. Why her? That person dating him is supposed to be me. I stood up from the bench and walked closer to the railings. My grip tightened on them as my eyes darkened. I made a dangerous decision—“My dear Hyunjin, since you love her so much, I would make her suffer. Y/n, I am going to put you in your place.” I laughed, as I threw my head backwards, totally looking like a maniac. But, who cares? Hyunjin, I am going to make you mine. MINE.
